Project 2: Interfacial Mechanics

  • Interface mechanics between polymer derived ceramics (PDC) and 1D nanomaterials, such as CNTs, CNTs/Al2O3, CNTs/HfO2
  • Interface mechanics between PDC and 2D nanomaterials including graphene and graphene oxide.

Project 3: Design/Development of Nanomechanical Devices

  • In-house nanomanipulator for junction investigation.
  • Tensile platform for correlating strain and optical response.

Project 4: Catalyst for Water Treatment

  • Fabrication of new hybrid photocatalyst, such as TiO2/carbonized cotton T-shirt.
  • TMDs based catalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction.
